6Verse 6. On this mountain the LORD of Hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all the peoples, a feast of aged wine, of choice meat, of finely aged wine. 7Verse 7. On this mountain He will swallow up the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; 8Verse 8. He will swallow up death forever. The Lord GOD will wipe away the tears from every face and remove the disgrace of His people from the whole earth. 9Verse 9. And in that day it will be said, “Surely this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He has saved us. This is the LORD for whom we have waited. Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”

1Verse 1. Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2Verse 2. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3Verse 3. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God. 4Verse 4. ‘He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,’ and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5Verse 5. And the One seated on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Then He said, “Write this down, for these words are faithful and true.” 6Verse 6. And He told me, “It is done!

32Verse 32. When Mary came to Jesus and saw Him, she fell at His feet and said, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33Verse 33. When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. 34Verse 34. “Where have you put him?” He asked. “Come and see, Lord,” they answered. 35Verse 35. Jesus wept. 36Verse 36. Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!” 37Verse 37. But some of them asked, “Could not this man who opened the eyes of the blind also have kept Lazarus from dying?” 38Verse 38. Jesus, once again deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39Verse 39. “Take away the stone,” Jesus said. “Lord, by now he stinks,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man. “It has already been four days.” 40Verse 40. Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” 41Verse 41. So they took away the stone. Then Jesus lifted His eyes upward and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42Verse 42. I knew that You always hear Me, but I say this for the benefit of the people standing here, so they may believe that You sent Me.” 43Verse 43. After Jesus had said this, He called out in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44Verse 44. The man who had been dead came out with his hands and feet bound in strips of linen, and his face wrapped in a cloth. “Unwrap him and let him go,” Jesus told them.
