When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him, as God had commanded him. Verse 5. Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. Verse 6. Then Sarah said, “God has made me laugh, and everyone who hears of this will laugh with me.” Verse 7. She added, “Who would have told Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.”

SECOND READING
Hebrews 1:8-12
Verse 8. But about the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever, and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom. Verse 9. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You above Your companions with the oil of joy.” Verse 10. And: “In the beginning, O Lord, You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. Verse 11. They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Verse 12. You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed; but You remain the same, and Your years will never end.”
