2 Chronicles 20:5-12
Verse 5. Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem in the house of the LORD in front of the new courtyard Verse 6. and said, “O LORD, God of our fathers, are You not the God who is in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand, and no one can stand against You. Verse 7. Our God, did You not drive out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham Your friend? Verse 8. They have lived in the land and have built in it a sanctuary for Your Name, saying, Verse 9. ‘If disaster comes upon us— whether sword or judgment, plague or famine— we will stand before this temple and before You, for Your Name is in this temple. We will cry out to You in our distress, and You will hear us and save us.’ Verse 10. And now, here are the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, whom You did not let Israel invade when they came out of the land of Egypt. So Israel turned away from them and did not destroy them. Verse 11. See how they are repaying us by coming to drive us out of the possession that You gave us as an inheritance. Verse 12. Our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless before this vast army that comes against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”

Jeremiah 25:8-14
Verse 8. Therefore this is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Because you have not obeyed My words, Verse 9. behold, I will summon all the families of the north, declares the LORD, and I will send for My servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, whom I will bring against this land, against its residents, and against all the surrounding nations. So I will devote them to destruction and make them an object of horror and contempt, an everlasting desolation. Verse 10. Moreover, I will banish from them the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of the bride and bridegroom, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp. Verse 11. And this whole land will become a desolate wasteland, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon for seventy years. Verse 12. But when seventy years are complete, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, for their guilt, declares the LORD, and I will make it an everlasting desolation. Verse 13. I will bring upon that land all the words I have pronounced against it, all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations. Verse 14. For many nations and great kings will enslave them, and I will repay them according to their deeds and according to the work of their hands.’”

Galatians 5:7-12
Verse 7. You were running so well. Who has obstructed you from obeying the truth? Verse 8. Such persuasion does not come from the One who calls you. Verse 9. A little leaven works through the whole batch of dough. Verse 10. I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is troubling you will bear the judgment, whoever he may be. Verse 11. Now, brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished. Verse 12. As for those who are agitating you, I wish they would proceed to emasculate themselves!
